SCOTUS TRIVIA - April
By Professor Thomas E. Baker

New question:
Which four presidents did not appoint a single Supreme Court Justice? (hint: only one of them served a full term)

Previous Answers

March's answer:

The names of the Justice’s whose last names are colors are:
Horace Gray, Henry Billings Brown, Edward Douglas White, Hugo Black and Byron White. This first question was an homage to William Hubbs Rehnquist, himself a trivia buff who enjoyed a friendly wager; the “Chief” asked this question of all his new law clerks.

Twelve students answered the question correctly: Becky Salokar, Jose Teurbe-Tolon, Richard Schevis, Peter Rizov, Christian Rodriguez, Steven Stavich, Jennifer Torres, Brandon Hechtman, Jennifer Levin, Philip Santa-Maria, Victoria Robertson, and Alberto Alonso. Jennifer Torres won the drawing for the SCOTUS coffee mug. Congratulations to all of you!
